Final Fridays at the Pendleton
I was so excited to find The Pendleton Art Center when I moved to Cincinnati OH. Since becoming one of the artist featured there, I have met so many talented and inspiring fellow artists and for good reason - The Pendleton is said to be one of the largest collections of artist under one roof in the US! The historic eight story industrial building is now exclusively comprised of artist studios and galleries.
The Pendleton is open to the public every final Friday of the month. Artist open their studios from around 5pm till 10pm, so you not only get to see a huge variety of awesome work but often meet the artist behind it as well.
This is a super short walkthrough I filmed of Studio 313 from a Final Friday this past spring. I had an awesome opportunity to have my work featured on all four of the main walls, so I had to be a huge dork and try to document it :)
If you are in the area on the 27th of this month come by the Pendleton and drop into Studio 313 to see the first display of some of the new paintings and encaustics of mine that will be debuting throughout this fall, catch some of Judi Park’s incredible photography and check out work by an awesome new addition to the studio, Adam Ochs! The second room also features some amazing work by other local artist including bold and vibrant urban landscape paintings by Clint Wood.
